– The Washington Post

  • Gold Medal at the 1988 World Piano Competition

Eric Himy is a rare combination of music with meaning and technique that transcends normal barriers. He studied music at the University of Maryland and received a Master of Music degree from the Juilliard School in NYC. His repertoire for solo piano consists of works from Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Gershwin and many more. His own arrangements of Rhapsody in Blue and An American in Paris has amazed audiences all over the world. Visceral energy and passion.
